The National Equipment Register® (NER®) is a national database and information-sharing system that helps owners of construction and agricultural equipment manage their risks. Equipment owners and their insurers use NER's equipment marking and registration program to deter theft. The program also helps law enforcement recover stolen equipment. And NER offers a machine history report that significantly reduces the financial and reputational risks associated with unknowingly purchasing or selling stolen equipment.
